Giving Back: The Importance of Making a Profound, Meaningful Difference

A few kind hearts can make a profound, meaningful difference.

Often, many of us get swept up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, and we forget just how fortunate each of us truly is.

Throughout the year, the COACT Associates team continues to participate in efforts that create profound and meaningful differences throughout the community.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace: Fighting Child Bedlessness One Bunk at a Time

At the end of September, COACT partnered with the organization, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, who helps less fortunate children obtain something so many often take for granted: beds and bedding. 

We were able to assemble 30 beds (with bedding) for children who otherwise would sleep in conditions not like our own. 

These children will now have the very basic gift of a comfortable night’s sleep.  This allows for better performance in school, at home, and in life.

“Stuff the Truck” this Thanksgiving

This November, COACT has continued our journey of profound differences through an upcoming event that SeaGate Food Bank of Northwest Ohio is hosting called “Stuff the Truck.”

This event allows less fortunate families to have a Thanksgiving dinner through the collection of non-perishable goods. 

The United Way

But our vision doesn’t end with Thanksgiving; this upcoming holiday season (as we have many years in the past), we’ve partnered with United Way.  

We will be purchasing holiday gifts for a family who otherwise may not have a merry and bright holiday season.

A Profound, Meaningful Difference

I strongly urge you to take a second look at your bed, your dinner table, your holiday gatherings, and most importantly, your heart, and see just how fortunate you truly are. 

To me, contributing to the betterment of another has always been near and dear to my heart.

To be a part of the team at COACT who shares in the vision of continuous giving and continuous gratitude is so very special. 

I urge you and your friends, family, and loved ones to look at what things you may take for granted and to create a vision that allows for contribution to the betterment of another.
