Plastic Manufacturing Giant Invites COACT Client to Headquarters
A COACT machine design and consulting firm recently met with the corporate engineering and new product development groups of a top plastic manufacturer with annual revenues over $3 billion. The COACT client had worked with the company ten years ago in a different capacity, but had limited business the past several years. Over the course of the last year, COACT built an organizational profile of decision makers and coordinated a series of conference calls with the central engineering group and new product development departments. The COACT client recently met with both teams at their headquarters and as a result now has proposals for three custom machines. The manufacturer is planning a follow up meeting at the COACT client’s office for additional discussions.
Automotive Tier One Supplier Explores Prototypes
A Tier One Automotive supplier recently brought a COACT client in to meet with their product engineering group to discuss prototype designs for new components. The COACT client engineers, designs, and manufactures custom screw machine components for the automotive and heavy equipment industries. The COACT business growth efforts have been to leverage the client’s expertise and promote it to other Tier One suppliers in the transportation industry. COACT set the initial meeting in September for our client, who is now consulting with the prospect on a number of parts.
COACT Recruitment Efforts Help to Sign 10 New Members
COACT has partnered with a top ranked buying group in the packaging and jan/san industry. The buying group engaged with COACT in 2011 to develop a sales and marketing program to assist with channel development including new member recruitment, increase share gain with existing members, and to work directly with manufacturers on special programs. Since its inception, COACT has brought on 25 new members, many of which were from competitive groups, as well as significantly increased existing members overall spend. Through Q3 2013, COACT has signed ten new members this year alone.
